Lemeng Rubber & Plastic offers a one-stop customization service for silicone products, managing the entire development process—from initial concept to mass production—with standardized procedures that balance efficient prototyping with consistent quality. The complete process is outlined below:

1. Requirement Consultation and Feasibility Assessment

The client provides product sketches, 3D models, or physical samples, specifying the intended use, dimensions, material requirements, target unit price, certification needs (e.g., FDA, LFGB), and estimated order volume. Lemeng engineers assess structural feasibility, identifying potential issues such as demolding, shrinkage, and assembly challenges, while providing recommendations on material selection and manufacturing processes, along with estimated prototyping timelines and price quotes.

2. Structural Optimization and 3D Drawing Confirmation

Engineers optimize the product structure based on original drawings to address common silicone issues like deformation, shrinkage, and flash. Modified 3D models are generated and submitted to the client for approval. Finalizing the drawings is a critical step prior to mold making, helping to minimize costs associated with repeated mold modifications later on.

3. Mold Fabrication and Prototyping

Once drawings are confirmed, the in-house mold shop fabricates the steel molds. After completion, the molds undergo machine trials to produce initial samples. These samples are tested for appearance, dimensions, and tactile feel; hardness, color, and surface texture can be adjusted according to client requirements. The client provides feedback on the samples, and the molds are fine-tuned as necessary.

4. Sample Approval and Certification Preparation

Final samples are sealed and retained by both parties to serve as the quality benchmark for mass production. If the product is intended for the mother-and-baby sector, food contact applications, or cross-border sales, third-party testing is arranged concurrently to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., FDA, LFGB), ensuring compliance with platform listing and overseas customs clearance requirements.

5. Small-Batch Trial Production

A small-batch trial run is conducted prior to full-scale production to verify mold stability, manufacturing processes, and yield rates. Production and quality control teams record molding parameters and identify defects—such as air bubbles, oil bleeding, color variations, or dimensional deviations—to optimize the production plan and mitigate risks associated with mass production.

6. Mass Production and Comprehensive Quality Control

Mass production commences following successful trial production. Quality control measures are implemented throughout the process: incoming raw material inspection, in-process checks during compression molding, and comprehensive final inspections (covering appearance, dimensions, and functionality) to ensure the elimination of defective products. Lemeng operates an 8,500-square-meter factory with in-house production lines, allowing for controllable scheduling and the reliable fulfillment of orders for cross-border brands.

7. Packaging, Inspection, and Shipment

We offer services such as neutral packaging, custom color boxes, and individual unit packaging tailored to client requirements. Client inspections—covering quantity, appearance, and packaging—are supported prior to shipment, followed by logistics arrangements once packing is complete. We also provide ongoing after-sales support to address product quality issues and facilitate mold modifications for product iterations.

The entire process is flexible enough to handle everything from small-batch trial orders for new products to large-scale cross-border orders, minimizing reliance on third-party outsourcing and shortening the new product development cycle.
