Custom Silicone Phone Cases: From Design to Production
If you have been sourcing silicone products for more than a year, you have probably run into this situation. You receive samples that look perfect, then the mass production order arrives with issues that were not there before. Custom Silicone Phone Cases is often where things go wrong.
What This Means in Practice
Earphone cases take a beating. They live in pockets and bags with keys and coins. Our cases use a slightly harder silicone (Shore A 60) on the outside for scratch resistance, with a softer inner layer to cushion the earphone case itself.
The Details Matter
Custom branding on silicone accessories can be done three ways: debossed, embossed, or printed. Debossed is the most durable because the logo is part of the mold. Printed logos look sharper but can wear off over time. We usually recommend debossed for products that get handled daily.
Where Things Go Wrong
Cable organizers seem trivial until you have a drawer full of tangled charging cables. The silicone ties we make use a snap closure rather than Velcro, because Velcro collects lint and wears out after a few months. The snap design is still working on samples we made in 2019.
There is no substitute for experience in this business. We have made enough mistakes over the years to know what to watch for, and we pass that knowledge on to every client. Lemeng Silicone offers full OEM and ODM services with the kind of quality control that gives you confidence in every shipment.
